The project is implemented by National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with sponsorship from the Bodossaki Foundation and the National Bank of Greece in collaboration with Green Athens S.A..

The scientific project implementation team consisted of Konstantina Mitsigiorgi, Danae Papageorgiou, Dr. Aikaterini Stefi, who served as the coordinator, and the Scientific Responsible of the project, Professor Emeritus of Plant Anatomy at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Dr. Nikolaos S. Christodoulakis.
